Engine Runs!!

Well, finally got the old engine on the airframe..no muffler yet. wanted to see if it would run, after all, its probably been about 15 years since its been started. The engine looks good inside, so I decided to start it and run it up a little. The black and brown wires that I am supposed to put the kill switch across, are already shorted together, but the engine still runs! Obviously the kill switch does not work, but thankfully when you bring the throttle all the way down, the engine does shut off. We made a video of it running, its on youtube. Here's the link.

new weedhopper blog

Hello,

This is all new to me, so have patients. I wanted to start a blog so I could have resources to finish my weedhopper. The old bird should be flying before summer ends. Anyone with any info, comments, or questions, just blog away and maybe someone can help us out..
